This will be my first photoshop tutorial so please don’t throw rocks at me.Weather you like it or not , comments are more than welcome.

1. We should start with a nice picture, i chose a really sexy girl “Suelyn Medeiros“
2. Open the file by clicking File>Open ( browse to where the file is located)
3. Right click the header of the image to open Image size options

4.Now enter the hight you desire, depending on the screen size or wallpaper size in pixels (example: width=1280 height=1024 or width=1680 height=1050)

Now click OK, first step is completed , now we should create a new file using the size you want ,i made a 1280×1024 pixels wallpaper.

5.Go to File>New file

6.Let’s go back to the girl image, we have to duplicate the background in order to edit the file (delete the background for now…). Go to Layer>Duplicate Layer or …

7.One easy method to remove the WHITE background is “Magic Eraser Tool” (for starters let’s stick to this one, on the next tutorials i will show you more complex ways to remove the exes background), to find the tool you need to right click on the eraser and choose the magic one, easy.

7.a. Change the tolerance to a value between 5 and 10 depending on the noise or colours found in the picture background.I chose 5 in order to delete just the background and not the bikinis.

8.Now the magic is about to happen, in order to become Harry Potter you must click on the white background. But…. nothing happened !!! WHY ??? Actually something happened but you can’t see it unless you know where to look.If you take a quick peek on the right down ,at the layers menu you will see that the background is gone from the duplicated layer.

9.We have two files open ,one with the girl and one with a white background.We will chose the girl file, find the select tool and click the girl hold the click and drag to the white file, then release , the girl should be on the new file. Probably you have to adjust her position on the wallpaper, you can use the keyboard arrows or the select tool.
